Vienna La Rouge http://www.thedaglab.com/2009/04/25/vienna-la-rouge/ http://www.thedaglab.com/2009/04/25/vienna-la-rouge/#comments Sun, 26 Apr 2009 01:34:57 +0000 SweatNapper http://www.thedaglab.com/?p=826 New half plate daguerreotype today to place among the occupational portraits - Vienna La Rouge!

She is a beautiful and extremely talented burlesque performer.  Also very handy with the sewing machine… she designs and makes all her own costumes and props.

Don’t miss her next performance.

Show in April http://www.thedaglab.com/2009/03/17/occupational-series/ http://www.thedaglab.com/2009/03/17/occupational-series/#comments Wed, 18 Mar 2009 00:29:06 +0000 SweatNapper http://sweatnapper.com/?p=537 Summer is coming, the weather’s getting better and I couldn’t be happier.

I’m slowly getting back into things again and was excited to be asked to participate in a group art show at Kuhl Frames +Art in downtown Oakland. It will be up the month of April and will include another photographer Chris Nickel. I’ll be putting up a few older pieces but will also be showing a little occupational series that’s ongoing.

I’ll post more information about the show soon along with scans of some occupational images.
